I got this for my husband for Christmas and was stunned by its beauty when I received it. Such incredible quality and craftsmanship, and more beautiful even in person than it looks online. You will not be disappointed!
Broken watch band. ByAmazon Customeron May 26, 2017
Watch in very nice, although the first one I ordered I had to return because it arrived broken.
Also looks good on nato straps. It kind of reminds me of an omega speedmaster.

Very Good Looking, Well Made & Durable, For Dress & Business ByKenneth DepreeTOP 500 REVIEWERon February 28, 2016 I have a previously purchased Burei watch that is performing well and I expect this watch to do the same. It appears to be well made and looks quite durable. When I took the watch from the box the time was correct, which is good news and bad news. The good news is that I knew immediately this was not a dud and that it was keeping good time, the bad news is I have no idea how much of the life of the battery has already been consumed.
Burei watches are Chinese, very possibly knock offs of better known watches. But when a watch is on my arm, the only things that matter to me are whether it keeps good time and whether it looks good. This watch gets high marks in both. It is a very handsome watch.
Besides the main dial, with a sweep second hand, there are 3 small dials: 24 hour, chronograph minutes (60 minutes) and chronograph seconds. Instructions for setting and using these dials as well as the main dial are in the excellent instructions that come with the watch. Also on the face of the watch is a small date window.
It was not necessary for me to correct the time, but the 24-hour window showed 1am rather than 1pm, and the date was tomorrow. Most likely that was because the watch thought it was 1am on the 29th rather than 1pm on the 28th. I corrected the 24-hour window but not the date. February is almost over and the watch assumes each month has 31 days. In fact, my present plan is to ignore the date rather than correct the calendar every time we have a 30 day or less month. Anyone looking at the watch on my wrist would not notice the date was wrong because the window is small..
This watch is described as a dress watch, but it is also a good watch for most to wear for work. With the chronograph, it also looks like a sports watch, but since the water resistance is only 30m I am not putting it in that category.
The packaging for this watch is excellent and resembles the packaging for a more expensive watch. Open the box and there is the watch wrapped around a small over-stuffed pillow. You could give this watch to anyone as a gift and they would not think they were receiving a "cheap" watch.
The body of the watch and the band are polished stainless steel. I have other watches with stainless bands but this is the easiest of any of them to open. To remove it from your wrist, press the 2 little buttons on the clasp, one on either side, and it opens up. When you put the band on your wrist, fold it up and press and it locks closed.
Included with the watch is an excellent user guide that walks you through the steps of managing all the dials. Also included is a tool for removing links, but I have not tested it.
Sample provided at a discount to test and review. I am not giving the watch 5 stars because I think it is the best watch on the market, but because for the price charged by Amazon at the time this review is written I believe this watch is a 5-star value. Read less
Most Accurate Watch I Have Ever Owned BySelden Deemeron February 24, 2016 I grew up with analog watches, but switched to digital around 1980, and have owned nothing but calculator watches since the late 1980s. For those who still wear wristwatches, the market seems to have forked in two functional directions: 1) Primary use to tell time or 2) Jewelry/fashion statement. If you wear a watch as a bracelet that can also tell time, go analog; if you want functionality and accuracy, go digital, although I have never seen a digital watch that looks luxurious. This is a substantial watch, with a handsome band, nicely finished, resembling an Omega Speedmaster, but without the perimeter bezel.
My wrists are not large, and a normal part of setting up a new watch includes removing several links from the band, often a frustrating task. This task was made easier by an included link remover. Unfortunately, the steel of the pin pusher was not well tempered and bent before the pins moved, so I had to resort to hammering out the link pins with a small diameter punch, but the base was still handy for stabilizing the band during this operation. I appreciate that the band has a double latch mechanism — no more watch flying off because the catch has released accidentally.
Unfortunately, the calendar movement is based on a 31-day month, so the date has to be reset manually after months with 28, 29, or 30 days (but is done at the first click, which doesnt stop the second hand, so time doesnt also need to be adjusted). The minute and second hands have luminous inserts, but they require a lot of light, and fade quickly. The hour markers on the watch face are not luminous.
According to the well-written user manual, rated accuracy is ±20 seconds/months. I zeroed the time against the US atomic clock the start of Daylight Saving Time, and by May 30 it was less than 1 second off from the US atomic time clock. It slightly loses time when I am wearing it, gains when I am not, overall, zero error. Its going to be a fun game to see how long it will stay within +1 second of atomic time.
This is a handsome watch, providing good value for money. It may not be Omega quality, but its also a fraction of the cost.
